107. Know you not that it is Allah to Whom belongs the dominion on the heavens and the earth? And Other than Allah you may have neither any Wali (protector or guardian) nor any helper.
So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, Allow him fast it; and whoever is unwell or with a journey - then an equivalent amount of other times. Allah intends for yourself simplicity and will not intend in your case hardship and [wishes] for you to complete the time period and also to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you'll be grateful.
